Where the colours come from

The palette comes from the Mynd mark. The mark is graphite tiles with a single coral plus, so the site is graphite on warm paper with one coral accent. Nothing else is added.

The palette

Ink, graphite near-black (#0E1113): text and the dark tiles of the mark. Paper (#EEE9DF): the page, a warm neutral that lets graphite and coral carry. Coral (#B83A2A): the accent used for text and links. It is the mark's coral plus (#F05E47) darkened so that coral text keeps strong contrast on paper.

Type

Instrument Serif for headlines, chosen for a clear, humane, editorial voice that reads as written, not generated. Inter Tight for body text, for dense reading. IBM Plex Mono for small labels and status. All fonts are open-licensed and served from this site.

Division areas

The areas of the site, such as Medicines or Discovery, may use their own colours and type to feel like their own place. They sit inside the firm: the mark, the paper and ink and the coral always return on the home page, the firm pages and the footer.

Accessibility

Text and background pairs are chosen for strong contrast. Colour is never the only carrier of meaning.
